Ethical Principles

Downloadable Ethical Guidelines

The journal Literacy, Preliteracy and Education adheres to the ethical standards of publication in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE): https://publicationethics.org/guidance/Guidelines. These guidelines cover the responsibilities of editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher.

All research involving human subjects must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki(1964, amended in 2013). The manuscript must include a statement confirming that the research was approved by an ethics committee and that informed consent was obtained from all participants, as per the ICMJE Recommendations for the Protection of Research Participants.

Conflict of Interest
All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or other relationships with individuals or organizations that could inappropriately influence—or be perceived to influence—their work.

Manuscript Submission
Submission of a manuscript implies that it contains original work that has not been previously published, is not currently under consideration elsewhere, and will not be submitted to another publication until a final decision has been made. If accepted, the manuscript will not be published elsewhere.
The journal LITERACY, PRE-LITERACY AND EDUCATION follows a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the reviewers remain anonymous to the authors.
