Dear readers,

this issue of e-journal PAIDEIA brings new inspirational texts: Jitka Paitlová prepared a thorough study of the concept of platonic fronesis, Věra Jirásková engaged the problem of understanding in the thinking of H. G. Gadamer and H. Arendt. Zuzana Labudová analyzed the question of authenticity in literary fiction, Dagmar Kotlíková addressed the phenomenology of perception of of Merleau-Ponty in the relation to a dichotomy inside the Czech art education and Karolína Černá searched the European venue to resolve the global problems.
