Dear readers,

this issue concludes already the eighth volume of e-journal PAIDEIA. Again, it brings inspirational texts: Rastislav Nemec ponders the benefit of the contribution of religious element to education according to A. N. Whitehead. Jan Hábl discusses the problem of epistemological foundationalism; special educator Tereza Skákalová philosophically touches the life of persons with hearing impairments and Karel Kukla questions whether evil lies in identity.
