Abstract

Dear readers,

the second issue of e-journal PAIDEIA comes as an inspiration for meditation during the hot summer months.

The issue includes a final text on Russian Symbolism movement by authors from University of Ostrava Lenka Naldoniová and Jan Vorel, a first part of a study about thinking of Jaroslava Pešková written by David Rybák, a text from Klára Holá on Plato’s light metaphysics, and a tract by Zdeňka Dohnalová from Masaryk University in Brno aimed at traumatic living situations of parents dealing with death of their child. The issue is supplemented by Mikuláš Horský’s book review of a collective volume about Comenius’s concept of the World.
