Abstract

Dear readers,

the first issue of eighteenth volume of e-journal PAIDEIA is composed in various ways.

It brings the second part of Leo Vaniš’s extensive text on the philosophy of high school aesthetics. Sebastian Jirgl writes about emotionality in philosophical reflection, Adéla Malá deals with the thinking of Gabriel Marcel. In an English-language article, a pair of Russian authors, Jakovlevová and Kosenková, focus on aspects of people’s emotional life. The texts are supplemented by an essay by Stanislav Koutný and a review of a Slovak book on the philosophy of education.
