Abstract

Dear readers,

another academic year is slowly coming to the end and summer holidays are near. We, at PAIDEIA, believe that the published articles will become a source of inspiration for upcoming exams.

Our spring issue brings a contemplation of Professor Radim Palouš about the current state of science. Jan Payne was searching for the ontological foundation of human rights. Two contributions are directly addressing the topic of education: Marek Fajfr tried to outline the deconstructive philosophy of education and Petra Morvayová analyzed the resources of post-multicultural education. Further you will find the second and final part of the article by Martin Šístek about the picture of a child in the work of J. A. Comenius; Anna Bystrzycká is commemorating the humanist Janusz Korczak and Věra Jirásková wrote a book review of Erazim Kohák’s book.
