Abstract

Dear readers,

in the fifth volume we are returning to the original rhythm with texts issued four times a year. The reformatting of archived texts was finalized. We will continuously inform you about other planned changes.

The first issue of this year brings an extensive study by Gabriela Khan-Svik. She introduced her text at the international conference on Multiculturality, that took place at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague on 9. 11. 2006. Jan Payne has sent an article with the theme of free will. Highly actual and essential is a contribution by Jaroslava Schlegelová on ethical education in light of the curricular reform. The theme of freedom in the work of F. M. Dostojevskij and J.-P. Sartre is pursued Jana Moskalová. The picture of child in the work of J. A. Comenius is the topic of a contribution by Martin Šístek.
