Abstract

Inspiration from the work of exile magazine editors for today? – The correspondence of sociologist Karel Hrubý and theologian Karel Skalický from 1975–1999 was published by the Centrum pro studium demokracie a kultury in Brno. Both thinkers shared many common challenges and tasks. Both lived in exile during the communist totalitarianism. Both were engaged in publishing periodicals in exile, both organized conferences, both were eager to help people in totalitarian Czechoslovakia and those living in exile.
