Abstract

Dear readers,

the final issue of the XIXth volume of the e-journal PAIDEIA features the conclusion of Johana Franková’s study on Comenius’s conception of the world in his works Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart and Unum necessarium. Furthermore, it includes an English text by independent researcher Rudolf Larenz regarding models as intellectual constructs created by scientists to grasp reality. Adéla Malá reflects on the religious horizon of secondary school students, while Aneta Fodorová explores the points of intersection between Lev Vygotsky’s thought and the early Russian avant-garde in relation to the “new man” project. The issue also includes a translation of Ludwig Landgrebe’s 1955 report on teaching philosophy in secondary schools. The edition concludes with a review article by Zuzana Svobodová on a Slovak textbook dedicated to virtues and their role in holistic education. We believe that the offered texts will find an appreciative audience among their readers.
