Dear readers,
the last issue of the thirteenth volume of the e-journal PAIDEIA is not devoted to the classics of Czech philosophy of education Prof. Jaroslava Pešková and Prof. Radim Palouš, yet still it offers inspiring texts.
In this fourth issue you will find an article by prof. Malte Brinkmann about tasks of school, translated by Andrea Fleischerová. Robert Kuthan is describing philosophical an ethical preconditions of understanding and Zuzana Svobodová is devoted to the teaching of Dia-Logos in the New Testament. Jan Kratochvíl compares thinking of Ladislav Klíma and Arthur Schopenhauer, and Milena Tichá deals with a profit in education to economic thinking. David Rybák attached a book review about the role of modern university, and Blanka Kudláčová, the Vice-president of Central European Philosophy of Education Society (CEUPES) offers the report about activity of CEUPES.
