Abstract

Comenius’ God’s world as “gloomy darkness of chaos”. – According to Comenius human beings are beings of three lights – inner light (soul), external life (physical body) and the light of God. Human beings are also both microtheos and microcosmos. Microtheos means that we carry God himself within ourselves. Microcosmos can be understood as the universe in us. God is the abyss of eternity and human beings are abysses of nothingness – if we carry God within us, we become both – the abyss of eternity connected with the abyss of nothingness. The world is gloomy chaos of darkness, and it is up to the individual himself, if he decides to light or darkness.
