Abstract

Criticism of anarchic power. – The aim of the article is to show a principal change in the contemporary social critique. While the critique has been drawing up the assumption that the political power relies on a grand narration and disciplination, today’s world provides us with the examples of the merger of the power and postmodernism. The postmodern critique of power has resisted in subverting grand narrations and disciplination but this kind of subversive activity is being used by the contemporary power as witness the Russia strategy worked out by Putin’s adviser Surkov. The postmodern patterns has begun to serve to historically new form of the power legitimization. The article then points that postmodernism is a part of an anarchic tradition which reaches in the remote past. The merger of power and anarchic tradition is presented as the stir to leaving anarchic tradition of power critique.
