Abstract

Justice for all? Appreciation of merits in the Danube monarchy. – The article deals with the problem of issuance of orders in the Danube monarchy. The fundamental turning point in the development of the Danube monarchy is the year 1848. The establishment of equality in law, the declaration of constitution, the abolition of serfdom, and above all the removal of ancient Estates society, represented the most radical change that the Habsburg Monarchy had experienced during the centuries of its existence.
