Abstract

Contemplations about Guilt and Remorse in Connection with Dostoyevsky’s novel Demons. – The phenomenon of conscience and guilt will hit everyone, as well as the anarchist leader and “cruelest Christian” in the formation of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky – Stavrogin in work Demons. Rupture of communion with God leads to a tragic end and punishment not only individual from which guilt comes from. Individual guilt and punishment, is punishment’s own fault, but mainly the tragedy of close ones, community, nation, humanity. Here is the philosophical and ethical message of F. M. Dostoyevsky’s novel, particularly in Demons.
