Dear readers,

in the summer issue of the e-journal PAIDEIA you will find Petr Nesvadba’s actual therminological and conceptual reflection on the abundantly mentioned professional ethics. Mark Wiesenganger’s text will take us to medieval Christian thought and Zuzana Kunstová’s article on the Jewish roots of Lévinas’s philosophy. Šárka Hubáčková and Ilona Semrádová prepared a case study on understanding in higher education and Zuzana Svobodová reflects a recent publication dealing with suffering in the teaching profession.
