Abstract

Dear readers,

in the first issue of the e-journal PAIDEIA in 2020 you will find an article by Assoc. Prof. Miloš Kučera on the interpretation of the painting by Vincent van Gogh. Ondřej Starý prepared an extensive text comparing an ecstatic temporality in the work of Martin Heidegger and Ladislav Hejdánek, that we decided to publish in full. We also prepared the second part of an extensive study by Dalibor Vik about the main features of comeniology of Prof. Radim Palouš. Included are also articles of Zuzana Svobodová (focused on dialogues in texts by Jostein Gaarder) and Pavel Šlégr (about Bergson’s understanding of man in context of Gehlen’s philosophical anthropology).

These peer-reviewed papers are complemented by a Czech-Slovak dialogue on ethics led by Zuzana Svobodová (Charles University in Prague) and Assoc. Prof. Andrea Blaščíková (University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra).
