Outline of Deconstructive Philosophy of Education. – Author is trying to find elements of postmodern philosophy of education based on Jacques Derrida’s thoughts. Is decentred education, education without centre, education as a net possible, and how? It is still more and more obvious that education itself implies centre: even in Derrida’s work some centring intentions can be found. Educator, freedom of educative institutions, tradition, our heritage and our responsibility coming out from it or carefulness about world can be seen as these centres: even postmodern education has to rely on these aspects. Education without any kind of metaphysics is probably impossible.
