Abstract

Prague Spring 1968 as a progressive construction of national identity. – The article deals with the Prague Spring 1968 as an event that shows the possibility of the real alternative towards the real existing socialism as much as the liberal capitalism. In some respect, this event exceeded some limits of the Western student movement at that time. This thesis is substantiated by comparing the French worker’s councils and the govermental support of their spontaneous surge in Czechoslovakia.
