Richard Rorty’s edifying philosophy. – Richard Rorty, an american post-linguistic philosopher who continued in the hermeneutic, pragmatic and anti-esencialistic tradition of his philosophical predecessors. Richard Rorty is convinced that philosophy as a whole is not entitled to judge any other fields of science. Rorty declares that philosophy is completely the as same as any other science. Philosophy does not occupy any specific position in the area of general cognition. The purpose of Rorty’s concept of philosophy is to maintain dialogue among various scientific or lay languages.
