The first issue of the ninth volume of the journal Literacy, Emergent Literacy and Education is dedicated to reflections on the fifth annual conference I Read and Become a Reader 2024. The published studies address innovations in pre-service teacher education for early childhood educators, the role of digital technologies in supporting learners with specific learning difficulties, and the use of school libraries in primary education. Further contributions explore the development of music literacy through digital applications, approaches to initial reading instruction for children with visual impairments, and the integration of library pedagogy into university teacher training. This issue thus provides inspiration for educators in the areas of inclusive education, digital literacy, and reading promotion across educational levels.
