thank you for your interest in publishing in our journal Literacy, Preliteracy, and Education. The following information provides an overview of the requirements for various types of submissions. Please ensure that your manuscripts adhere to the specified guidelines regarding length, content, and structure.

Research Study
A research study should examine the relevance of the issue in the context of existing research, formulate theoretical foundations, define research objectives and questions, and present a clear description of the research methodology. The study should include methods of data analysis and interpretation of results. The quality of presentation, adequacy and reliability of data, depth of discussion, and formulation of conclusions and recommendations for further research or practice are crucial for acceptance.
- Maximum length: 35,000–40,000 characters (approximately 15–20 pages)
- Content: Theoretical background, research questions, methodology, data analysis, results, discussion, conclusions, and, if applicable, recommendations for practice.
Methodical Study
A methodological study should present new approaches, procedures, or strategies applicable in the field of special education and related disciplines. It should include a description of the proposed methods, their theoretical foundations, implementation strategies, and practical applications. The study should also include a critical analysis of the advantages and limitations of each method and assess their effectiveness based on empirical or theoretical findings (evidence-based).
- Maximum length: 35,000–40,000 characters (approximately 15–20 pages)
- Content: Description of methodical approaches, theoretical background, application of methods in practice, analysis of effectiveness, advantages and limitations of proposed methods, recommendations for implementation.
Theoretical Study
A theoretical study should present an original approach to the examined issue, reflect on the theoretical framework, and highlight its significance for the development of the given topic and field. Emphasis should be placed on the applicability of theoretical approaches in practice and their potential for broader use.
- Maximum length: 35,000–40,000 characters (approximately 15–20 pages)
- Content: Presentation of theoretical approaches, applicability in practice, significance for the development of the field.
Overview Study
An overview study should capture the essence and evolution of the examined issue while maintaining a systematic and comprehensive approach. The study should provide a high-quality analysis and synthesis of literature, considering both domestic and international sources. It is essential to define criteria for evaluating the cited studies and ensure their balanced representation.
- Maximum length: 35,000–40,000 characters (approximately 15–20 pages)
- Content: Literature analysis, synthesis of findings, definition of evaluation criteria, citations of relevant domestic and international literature.
Discussion
A discussion should reflect on current topics, new trends, or challenges in the given field. It may take a comparative or contrasting approach, focusing on differences between past and present approaches, research findings, or trends.
- Maximum length: 10,000–15,000 characters (approximately 4–8 pages)
- Content: Comparison of historical and contemporary approaches, analysis of changes in the field, discussion of new approaches and methods, challenges for practice, analysis of the current state and future directions of the field.
Report
A report should provide a concise and informative description of significant events, conferences, or activities related to the field. It may cover professional conferences, workshops, or other relevant events.
- Maximum length: 8,000–10,000 characters (approximately 3–5 pages)
- Content: Summary of key topics and outcomes from the conference or event.
Review
A review should critically assess published books, articles, or other academic publications. It should provide an objective evaluation of the content, methodology, and contribution of the publication to the field.
- Maximum length: 6,000–8,000 characters (approximately 2–4 pages)
- Content: Critical analysis of the reviewed publication, assessment of its value and contribution to research or practice.
