Call for papers: “Teachers in the Grip of Contemporary Changes”
The journal Pedagogika announces a 2027 special issue titled “Teachers in the Grip of Contemporary Changes.” It aims to analyse how long-term reforms, innovations, technological developments and societal pressures are reshaping teachers’ work and school practice. The issue welcomes theoretical, review, methodological and empirical studies focusing on changing professional demands, teacher workload, working conditions, or international comparisons.
Abstracts (max. 3,600 characters) are due by 30 April 2026 at pedagogika@pedf.cuni.cz
with the note “Monočíslo 2027.” Final manuscripts are expected by 31 December 2026. Guest editors: Petr Urbánek, Andrea Rozkovcová and Zdeněk Beneš.
